Im 14 and i just started my period 2 months ago, and the first on lasted for like 8 days and the last one for 10 and i know thats not normal, the fist day isnt bad i can go like 5 or 6 hours before i have to change my tampon but the second day and on is really bad i have to change my super tampon like every 2 hours and it is really stressful during school to do that. But after the second night it stops over night maybe just a few drops. on like the 5th or 6th day it finally lets up and isnt so bad but still doesnt stop. and at over night there is this brownish stuff that comes out. and from then on it might be a little blood in the morning but after that its just the brown stuff but its light. and it continues like that until it stops. My mom called the doctor but they said because this was only my 2nd period that they didnt know what my hormones were going to do and that i should just wear a pad on the heavy days and just wait it out, but i cant take it. What can i do? Laurin
