discontinuing depro provera

hi, i was on depo for 7 yrs,my last shot was 7 months ago. and for the
last 4 weeks i have had vaginal bleeding on and off, heavy at first then
spotting. at first i wasnt worried as i thought it was normal but after
4 weeks of bleeding im very concerned.is this normal after stopping depo
shots. i would be so grateful if you could answer me asp to put my mind
at rest.
