Dear Alli, You need to get this checked out. Your doctor CANNOT tell your parents that you went to see him or her. If you're having sex, you need to have a pelvic exam and get on birth control. Please call you doctor. Once again, he or she CANNOT tell your parents. If you have a problem getting there, I would suggest that you get a friend to drive you or take the bus. If neither one of those work, then tell your mom you have a really bad sore throat and need to go to the doctor. It does not have to be a gynecologist. Just make sure you get some alone time with your doctor. Take care, Maggie
