Maggie! I can't believe a comment like that comes from a medical student. God help the women who come to you for sympathy when you graduate. You obviously haven't done much research into the side effects of Depo Provera. Do you realise that two women died on the same day in Dec 2001. One from a brain heamorage and one hung herself. And they were both definitely from the side effects of this drug. Maybe some women have benefited from this drug. But most women were not warned about the side effects they could suffer from before they had the shot. I'm sorry if I am wrong, but surely you are supposed to trust your doctor to give you all the information before you have the shot. That is of course,if they are given all the information themselves. I think you must be employed by the manufacturer (Upjohn). You would certainly not be saying thank god for Depo, if you had seen someones personality change almost overnight like I have. There was no other reason for this change. Put a search in your pc and see what you come up with. Look forward to hearing your reply. Are you sure you are a medical student? >
