Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: question" I am 21 yrs. old and I have fibroids, I was put on Lupron 2 injections and that did not shrink the fibroid, from what I understand my uteras is the size of someone that is 23 weeks, I am scheduled to have surgery in a couple of weeks, I will be getting my stomach cut open, and there is no guarantee that they will not have to do a hysterectomy...
