I'm 17 years old and my GP recently told me that I have a fatty liver. She did not tell me what is likely to have caused it, and it is not realted to alcohol as I have never had any. She did mention though that having the fatty liver may be causing the lower abdominal/pelvic pain that I have suffered with for 2 years now. Does anyone know if this is possible? I'm trying to find out some information as to what has caused the fatty liver but to no avail. I am not obese, but I am overweight by about 5 or so kilos. My GP also said that I possibly had a fatty liver either since birth or possibly for the past five years, but I have had abdominal ultrasounds before this and they have never shown a fatty liver. Anyone who can help me, I appreciate it. Amy
