i currently live in chicago and have been having trouble finding a place to go to get affordable counseling and meds. i had been taking zoloft for a few years for anxiety/ocd/depression and ive really had some ups and downs since ive been off. im in grad school and uninsured and i havent been able to find a place up here that has a sliding scale or likewise program for young, non-wealthy types like myself. when i lived in st louis, there were places that would accept you for being low income and made counseling and meds available to you at a more affordable cost. if any readers or doctors out there know of anything like this in chicago, please let me know who to contact. i dont know how long being off of them will be good for me and i currently cant afford to pay full retail cost of the meds. thanks for any help!
