i've been taking dianette for about 6 months + due to moderate acne. up until 2/3 months ago everything has been fine, except i began to bleed slightly for the week or so before my pill free week, kind of like the end of a period. this doesn't bother me physically, although it has been worrying me. i am having sex with my boyfriend, but do not rely on dianette as a form of contraception, we always use condoms. however it IS possible that i may have missed a pill and had unprotected sex the next day, my boyfriend claims he didnt ejaculate and i didnt notice that he had, yet i hear it's possible for a small amount of semen can 'escape' without full ejaculation? i know it isn't possible for me to be pregnant as i have been having my periods as normal since this incident (although unlike my usual heavy periods they have been slightly less heavy), though wondered if this might have anything to do with it? i was wondering if you could shed any light on the situation... i found the information re: spotting that comes with the pills useless when trying to work out if it was merely spotting or not! thanks...
