Assuming you are not on the pill, this could really just be your normal discharge during your cycle. Maybe you can track it on you calendar, and see if it coincides with ovulation?

As for your boyfriend, well, experienced as he may be, every woman is different. How would he feel if you looked at his bits, and wondered aloud whether they are really normal? :-)

(Personal experience: I came off the pill after 17 years at age 34, and man, was I in for fun with my cervical mucus! I actually find it very cool to see that my body is working so well, even though my boyfriend is occasionally put off by things. I just tell him that he has stuff coming out of him all the time, so he'd better not grumble about my week or so.)
