Kristina, I found in the Women's Health Archives, prior to age 8 is considered precocious puberty. So, if she is 7, and the Dr. does not expect her to get her period until the age of 9, she would be okay. I have a close friend whose Daughter is 11, almost 12. She has breasts (small, but they are there), has started getting underarm and pubic, and she hasn't started yet. She started getting breasts around the age of 10. I'm not a Dr., but if I were you and the Dr. was concerned, I would ask for a referral to an Endocrinologist. I know when my cousin's two children were young, there were concerns, and that is what her pediatrician had her do. Good luck! Robin
