My daughter is 7, (she will be 8 in April), she started getting body odor at about age 5-6, her doctor said to watch out for early puberty. She now has gotten what they call breast buds. Her doctor said she will get her period within 2 years. Her doctor also said that she is concerned about her being very short she estimated her to be about 5'4 if she gets her growth spurt, but only about 4'10-11 if she doesn't, she ordered an x-ray of her left hand to determine bone age, I looked on the internet and everything I find seems to say that it is perfectly normal to get breast buds at this age. Am I putting my daughter through useless testing that she doesn't need? I would appreciate any input on this.
p.s. her doctor is actually a pediatrician.
