I would like to know whether any research concerning ovarian dermoid cysts has been done in connection to contraception - my doctor told me that dermoid might be "supported" by progesteron, which is included in the pills, so I do not take them - after my left ovary was removed because of a big dermoid cyst,which was the second one, after the first 3,5 years earlier on the other side, where the ovary was preserved. Because there is a danger of another recurrence on the good ovary and I need to stay fertile, I would be grateful for any advice or experience with this kind of disease or any advice concerning prevention, if there is any.
