bright red vaginal bleeding From: j (anonymous@obgyn.net) Thu, 3 Jan 2002 22:38:18 -0600 (CST) Messages sorted by: [ date ][ thread ][ subject ][ author ] Next message: flora: "unusual bumps and pains" Previous message: Cee: "Re: vacation" hi, immediately after intercourse today my girlfriend noticed that she was bleeding. at first she thought she may have gotten her period (she felt crampy, had lower back pain, aches, etc.) but her blood was bright red instead of the normal color it is during her period. her cramps are worse than during her usual periods and she's very nervous because she has not ever bled bright red before. could this be the signs of an early pregnancy or miscarriage? also, in the 12 hours preceding her bleeding we had sex four times, which we never have done before. She refuses to see a doctor and i'm not really sure what i should do to best help and support her through this. any advice on what this may be would be greatly appreciated.
