BUT-- every time I've done it I've had some spotting. Sometimes light and only lasting a day or two, but other times it's lasted for 1-2 weeks. When I talked to my Dr., she said that this occurred because the Tri-cyclen was a Tri-Phasal pill, and that a mono-phasal is better for skipping periods. Hope this helps!
