Thank >you! hopefully the partner was wearing a condom when you had intercourse. The symptoms that you are describing could be a sexually transmitted disease like Chlamydia or gonorrhea. It can also be a symptom of escape ovulation which can occur even when taking oral contraceptive pills. Depending on which pills you are on, a lower dose like the 20 microgram pill probably has increased chance of escape ovulation. If you have the same symptoms next month I would talk to gynecologist about changing the pill you're on
