Hello! Three months ago I began taking ortho-tricyclen for my horrible cramps. Since I've started taking them, I have developed an AWFUL pain beginning about day 7 or 8 of the pills. My entire reproductive system feels like it knots up. I have pain in my pelvis radiating almost into my back and into my vagina. It comes and goes so I am not in constant pain. I went to a clinic last month and thought it was possibly due to a cyst (which they did't verify)...and ASSURED me that it was not the birth control pills. Finally the pain went away, and sure enough it is back again this month. My medical insurance won't kick in until Jan 1 so I'll have to wait until then to go to an ob-gyn. Could it be the pills? Are my symptoms indicitive of a cyst? Possibly something my body would have done even if I wasn't on the pill? Nobody I know has gone through this, and I can't find anything on the internet.
