It sounds like an ordinary yeast infection. When people take anti-biotics it is very common for women to develop a yeast infection as you have adjusted the balance of bacteria (including good yeast constraining bacteria) from their normal balance. You should check with you doctor if this is the first time you have had this. But it sounds like a yeast infection. It is very related to the penicillin you are taking - i have friends who have experienced yeast infections whenever they have been prescribed antibiotics. you should look into this sooner rather than later b/c the itching will only progressively get worse and will become very uncomfortable. i was experiencing yeast infections for some time and so i know the feeling.
