First of all, even though I know you may have questions about your fertility, don't try to get pregnant until you are really ready to start a family. There are tests that can be done to see how your tube is working when, and if you decide to conceive again. Most gynecologists can perform a test called a hysterosalpingogram(HSG) to check to see if your tube is open. This is a relatively simple outpatient test where dye is inserted into your tube and pictures are taken of it to see if the tube is open. Please don't assume you have a damaged tube and leave conception up to chance. You may have a perfectly normal remaining tube. Use a reliable birth control method. I would recommend talking with your healthcare provider about your concerns and getting them out in the open so you can relax and enjoy your life.
