It is certainly possible that there is tubal damage on the other side, and while treatment may have prevented damage to the point of tubal blockage, there is no way to know without doing either an HSG (hysterosalpingogram) or Chromopertubation. An HSG is generally the best choice, as it is an x-ray test that does not require surgery, though it is uncomfortable and a bit expensive. Chromopertubation has to be done in conjunction with a laparoscopy (surgery) and is very, very expensive as a result. Talk with your gyn.
