I don't see a response for this message so here's my input (I'm not a doctor but a migraine sufferer on BCP). I was on triphasil-28 when I lived in the states and had migraines like once a week. Some even lasted for like 3-4 days. Then I moved to Europe and was switched to another triphasic BCP -- still migraines... some even worse... a couple times I even thought about going to the ER but I couldn't move due to the pain. The I was switched to a low-dose pill - here it is called Minesse but I don't think it's in the US (may be like Yasmin, not sure). Anyway, it is a 28 pack with 4 placebos, all 24 days the same low dose. Now I have migraines much less frequently -- I would even call them just headaches. Ask you OBGYN about low dose. Hope this helps. (PS. My OBGYN and internist did not think the pill had anything to do with my migraines...)
