With the criteria already imposed by insurance and location, the only thing you can do is go by recommendations, if any are available.

All docs are different as are all specialists. If you're having a problem, the most important thing is to have you previous records so the doctor can see what may have been done already and what's up so far. The questions depend upon what you specifically want to know. Write down your concerns and see that they are addressed.
