micronor and no appetite

I am not sure if it is due to my birth control but - i have been on birth control for 2 months now. I am on micronor b/c i was susceptible to yeast infections (but i will soon be switching to mircette). I have no desire to eat. I am not sick and feel healthy otherwise. If I didn't force myself I could really go without eating during the days now. I have lost some weight but this is not as extreme b/c i force myself to eat on a regular schedule.

Is this unusual.

Also - i plan on switching to mircette. when is the best time to do this. I currently have a prescription but do not want to have 2 periods in one cycle. To avoid this - must i switch when i start my next period? or after it is over?

Thanks.
