STD and Virgin?From: Gina (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 25 Nov 2001 00:54:35 -0600 (CST)
About a week ago, I notice many small hard bumps, ranging from white to pink, on the lips of my vagina as well as on the area where the major and minor labia meet. On one side, they are very close together and lighter than the rest of the surrounding skin. On the other side, they are pink and blend in. There are also some bumps where my pubic hair begins. These bumps themselves are not painful, but I have experienced some redness and some burning. I don't think that this can be herpes because I do not have any sores and I have never had any type of sex. Also, these bumps will not pop like zits, even though that is what they look like. I also don't think that it can be genital warts because I have never had sex. Is it possible to have an external yeast infection? Can these symptoms be of an external yeast infection? I have been trying to get an appointment with my gynecologist for about a week now, but she has not been able to see me. And now I have my period. Can she still see me with my period? Thanks for your time.
