Jen,

It sounds like you need to be evaluated by your GYN. If your cramps are getting worse and your bleeding pattern is changing, your MD needs to be made aware of this. The cramping could be Endometriosis, which is when the lining of the uterus grows on the outside...such as behind the uterus, tubes, ovaries, bladder, etc. Talk to your MD. Also, read through the archives on the women's health forum and the endo pavilion forum for information on endometriosis.
