Hi. Im 20 yrs old and have been on birth control pills for about a year now. At first, my period became much lighter and shorter as is said to take place when one goes on the pill. I had debilitating cramps before I got on the Pill, to the point where i could not walk. That problem went away when I got on the pill. The last couple of months my cramps have come back and worsen every menstrual cycle. I get cramps two weeks before my next period. Along with the cramps coming back, my period now consists of a brown, dry mucus-like discharge instead of blood. Is this something serious that i should get looked at? How can i get my blood back to the way it was before???(if at all possible)
