Hi I had an ectopic when i was 17 (last january). I had my right tube removed but that is all I was told. I am wondering why they would take out the whole tube, instead of just giving me medication or removing the pregnancy, or part of the tube. I know that they can do this, so is there some reason why they would have to take the whole tube? My doctors dont seem interested in helping when I asked him what exactly had happened he just said "they took your right tube out" so any help as to why they would take the whole tube would be great
