I certainly do think it is hormonal, and things change throughout life, and your body may be just reacting differently to your hormone production. One of the easiest ways to control all of this would be to use oral contraceptive pills. You may have endometriosis, you may have a cyst, you may have polycystic ovarian syndrome, and you should probably see a gynecologist.
