You may have something called Raynaud's syndrome, where the extremities get extremely sensitive to cold, and actually have vascular constriction preventing blood flow. Most often it is the tips of the fingers or the tips of the toes, when in contact with the cold environment. Without sounding tried, you might want to wear more layers of clothing in cold environments. Or you could move the Houston.
