STDsFrom: Heather (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 26 Oct 2001 14:46:14 -0500 (CDT)
My ex-boyfriend informed me last week that he was diagnosed with genital warts, then 5 days later calls me and tells me he also has gonorrhea (spl?). Although, he is notorious for lying and has come up with some crazy stuff to get my attention whether it be positive or negative attention but this tops it all. Although I have my doubts of the validity of this I am going to the doc Monday for a full exam. My question would be that the last time I was with him was about a month and a half to 2 months ago. Wouldn't I have noticed something if he really did have these diseases? I personally have not experienced any type of symptoms. He has even told me he was never with anyone else but in 2 other conversations he said he was with 2 or 3 people....but he told me that the doctor was able to pin point his STDs back to when we first started having sexual intercourse. I could have sworn that I heard you could not tell when or from whom you got STD's from unless of course you were a virgin to begin with and was only with that one person sexually. I would appreciate any info you could give....I am trying my best to become educated on these subjects and I am changing my lifestyle because this is too scarry for me to even believe.
