Both my doctor and I are assuming it is from him. He is currently showing no signs of HPV and I do not understand why his doctor did not perform the acetic acid test on him as well. How will this effect our sex life, as his doctor has told him to stay away from me sexually, and that he has to watch for months to see if he shows any symptoms. As I understand it, he may never shows any symptoms at all? Does this mean that we cannot have sex again as I do not want to put him at risk for transmission? Also, the HC2 test to find out the strain of the virus- can you explain what goes on, as I am going to ask my gyn. to perform it for me. i am very worried about cervical cancer in the future.
