That is hard to say, but it sounds like you continue to have some shedding of the lining of your uterus after your menstrual period. More than likely this is because your cervical canal is narrow, and does not allow free flow of menses through the cervix. In a way you can think of it as an acting up into the uterine cavity,and then it will eventually flow through the cervical canal. If you have had a baby before, then obviously this answer isn't valid, and you may need to see your gynecologist. Birth control pills, the gynecologist's best friend, can easily correct this problem.
