You could try a lubricant like KY Jelly or Astroglide. These will make intercourse much more comfortable if she is not lubricated enough herself. She is likely tensing up at the thought of more pain which is just making things worse. If things don't improve, I suggest she see a GYN for an exam. Hope this helps!
