hi there everyone. i have a question concerning my menstrual cycle, and i'm really not sure if there is an answer. okay. my period is naturally very regular, every 27 to 29 days. i know...i am lucky :) but the problem is just about everything else. the flow is very heavy for at least 4 days, so much so that i don't feel comfortable wearing tampons at all. i get bad cramps, headaches, and backaches. sometimes i get flu symptoms, nausea and light-headness. is that maybe due to iron loss? the point is, it is an awful hinderence to life. i am a dance performance major and its terrible to feel so awfully to the point that i have to sit out of class or rehearsal because my period makes me feel so badly. in the past 8 months it seems to have been this way. i plan on seeing my physician about this when i go home, but that's two months from now. and i was wondering if i could get any advice on what to do about my problem. i know that the Pill might be able to help, but is there anything else? thank you for any response!!
