Hi Valerie: I'm not a Dr. but I've had IBS for many years. Until it has been properly diagnosed, the safest product to use would be Metamucil. Please read the container before purchasing it - I can't imagine any pregnancy restrictions but you never know. Take it as instructed, slowly working up to the maximum dosage. Are your symptoms new since your pregnancy? Best wishes.
