There are various possibilities of what may cause continual spotting, but the reassuring thing is that if it has been occurring for 19 years, it is very unlikely that it is anything serious. If a woman has pain at the haofway point between her cycles, then it can always jsut be ovulation. If it continues the rest of the cycle, then it could always be something like endometriosis. The important thing is to keep the appointment, but relax as it is very unlikely to be anything dangerous for you. Good luck.
