Re: No PERIODS trying to get pregnant. HELP!!!!From: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 20 Sep 2001 20:37:09 -0500 (CDT)
Val, That sounds like annovulatory bleeding and I was wondering if you had a TSH test ? That's a thyroid test that test the Thyroid stimulating hormone and it should be at 5.5 (normal range). If it's above 5 it's called hypothyroidisim and if it's under 5 it is consider hyperthyroid. You should check to have your thyroid tested of T3, T4, and the TSH if you hadn't. Because some doctors don't test the TSH. But if you did get your thyroid checked already you should get a test to see if you tubes are clear that is the HSG test. Maybe you should ask to be put on clomid for a bit to see if that will help the follies develop to go and Ovulation. I do agree with the doctor to get a endomentrial biopsy. Check to see if it's out of phase.
