Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Vaginal Swelling After Intercourse" I have a little problem that I hope someone can help me with. I'm 18 yrs old and I've been sexually active for about a year. I've been with my boyfriend for over 7 months and never had any problems with sex before. Recently, the last 4 or 5 times we've had intercourse, my vagina has become very swollen and it lasts for about a day and a half then goes away. It's not itchy or sore, it's just annoying and prevents further intercourse until it goes away. If anybody has any advice on this, it would be greatly appriciated.
