I'm not sure what you mean by "cleansing your canal," but want you to know the vagina is self cleansing, and nothing needs to be done.

What you were probably feeling is your cervix. It is normal if that is what you are feeling. To clear up any confusion, you may want to visit your health care provider for reassurance.
