Dear Negative, Just a fellow user of the site, not a Dr. But I have been pregos 4 times and know that you have to wait 2 weeks for a prego test to show up, unless it is a blood test. I was prego the first time, and went to the clinic when I was a week late and the test came back neg. I went back to the clinic a week later, it was positive. I believe the reason you must wait two weeks to take a prego test is that it takes this amount of time to get enough of the pregnancy hormones in your system. Also, try taking the test first thing in the morning, when you have been building urine all night. Or you could opt for a blood test, which will let you know immediately. Sometimes they cost, but you can get them done in a clinic and usually wait about 20 mins for the results. I took a blood test on my second pregnancy. But the time and few dollars it costs is worth the piece of mind than having to wait an additional week or possibly two... Just a few thoughts from my viewpoint. I've been in your shoes too many times, and know exactly how you are feeling... It's torture wondering. Good luck to you either way!! Singed, Been There
