hi, to start at the beginning... i took bcp from when i was 12 to 19... all kinds and types for dysmenhorrea, plus naproxen, and now i take darvocet. i stopped taking the pill when i was 19 and it took me 8 months to have a period, and 10 until they were regular... right before i turned 22 i got pregnant. i was very very sick and was hospitalized... eventually i had an abortion at 4 months ~ 11/98. i immediately went on ortho tricyclen and took that until may of this year. i got married, and we decided to have kids now, so i stopped taking it at the end of may. much to my surprise, my periods came right back, 28 days to the cycle exactly (i have been keeping track). until... this month, i was supposed to get it on 9/15... i took a pregnancy test on 9/13 it was negative, and i also took one on 9/16. that was also negative, but when i checked it like 15 min later there was a faint line. i don't know if that was just because it sat so long or what. anyhow, i have lots of pms like symptoms, and i have been really tired lately. i have been trying to get pregnant, so maybe its my imagination... since the tests came out neg. but then why would i be late??? i have never been late in my life except when i stopped taking the pill when i was 19... and when i was pregnant. what's wrong with me? can this be a late effect of stopping bcp? could i be pregnant?? why am i bitchy with sore boobs? HELP!!!!!!!!!
