Jessica,

If you are in a mature relationship, then having sex with someone to show this is not necessary. In a mature relationship there is love, honesty, and respect. If your boyfriend loves, respects, and is honest with you, what is there to show?

Becoming sexually is a mature responsibilty, so make sure this is something you want. You don't want to regret it.

Also, make sure you use a reliable method of birth control....especially condoms. You don't want to die from AIDS, or get an incurable STD.
