Re: getting hymen surgically removedFrom: Jessica (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sat, 8 Sep 2001 14:44:07 -0500 (CDT)
Hi Kyana, Ok, so the only thing I can think of is the tampon thing. Now, this may be a total shot out in the dark but maybe you could say that your hymen is so strong, and so "there" that you can't properly insert a tampon. The thickness may be so thick. You could say that you've used tampons before but they won't work right, and theres something wrong. The only reason I'm saying this is because I know that some women actually brreak their hymens by bike riding, or by using tampons...so there must be some sort of contact there. Hopefully a doctor on here will get back to you on some other medical reasons, but thats what I thought of. As far as muscle relaxants go...the only kind I've ever been given was during a survical procedure. It did relax me a lot, but I doubt that it would be given to you. Talk to your gyn. about this, maybe she could give you a one time prescription for this stuff, and see how it works. But Kyana, you say that you think your main problem is that your too tense....all that means is that well, your too tense. -Jessica
