The pill isn't bad. A mild one, like Estrostep causes very few side effects. I've never felt them. And you get used to the constant taking of it. Furthermore, if you are ever on a camping trip or...something...well, you can make your period not happen. Its a good thing to know.

I would suggest switching OBGYNs. its a good idea if your doctor isn't taking you seriously.

Also, if you are looking more for a natural method, in the book "cunt," the author talks about her own method...it involves more of a mental basis. I don't know if it works...but it may? Either way...talk to a different gynocologist...its important that you find some way to treat it!
