On the same note, I really like what my OBGYN told me...

You see, I had the exact same symptoms as you. I would shut my life down once a month and spend the day on the couch not moving...exhausted...in extreme pain and throwing up every time I moved too much.

Finally, I got recommended to a OBGYN who I really like. And...I did some research...First off, to me at least, your symptoms sound like primary dysmenorrea. Just because you described your pain coming in waves of sort, you know..off and on. I'm not a doctor, its just how I experienced it

At any rate, when I went to my OBGYN, my mother brought up endometriosis. Basically, the only way to diagnosis it is though surgery...and my OBGYN told me that you shouldn't assume the worst right off the bat. She put me on Birth Control and I take ibuprofin for the minor cramps that I still have on my first day. The point is is that it is highly treatable. Don't suffer through, you shouldn't have to!
