Brown spot on vagina....HELP! Reply: William McIntosh, MD: "Re: Brown spot on vagina....HELP!" I noticed yesterday that I have a fairly large sized light brown spot on the inside lips of my vagina. It doesn't hurt, itch or anything like that, but I've never noticed it before, so it concerns me. I do have genital herpes (altho i know it's not a herpe sore), and recently had an abortion. I don't think any of these would have anything to do with it, but if anyone could give me any kind of insight into what this may be, I would be VERY happy.
