Marchbein, M.D.: "Re: Irregular Periods" I am 17 years old and have had irregular periods ever since I started menstruating. They are usually about 3 months apart, and while my periods used to be heavy they are not as heavy as they used to be, and very very minimal cramping. Is this normal?? I last menstruated in May, so this month is 3 months after, and I started bleeding 2 days ago, but it is really barely any blood, and I only bleed about once a day. Also last month for about a week or more I had an orangey-brown and not so nice smelling discharge...Is all this normal? WHat should I be concerned with? Thank you!
