First I hope your friend is using protection. In my experience, sex has never hurt that bad except when losing virginity. There is no way of knowing when she will be able to have sex without having pain. Not to alarm you, but painful sex is one of many symptoms of Endometriosis. Other symptoms are : Pelvic Pain, Painful Menstartion, pain during or after intercourse, abdominal pain, back or leg pain, diarrhea, constipation. These are just a few of the symptoms. I mention this because I have endometriosis and I want women more aware. Please if she has painful periods get her to a physcian to get her checked out. Other possible reasons for her to experience pain could be from the position, deep penetration, or her unconsciously tightening muscles. There may be other causes, but these are the only ones I am aware of. If this is something that concerns her she should see her gyn, or if it continues. You are a good friend to try to find answers for her. Try to encourage her to see her gynecologist also. Anyone female that has sex needs to see a gyn. Wishing you well. Take Care and God Bless, AJ
