Im 16 years old and recently lost weight. I never felt over weight before and i never watched what i ate at all. but after i began to lose weight because of sports i began watching my weight. I am 5'4" and I used to weigh about 125-30 lbs, now i weigh 110-15 lbs(this was in a period of 6 months). I feel great and many people tell me i look great. I am completely healthy and dont binge or purge. However, after weight loss i lost my period too. I havent had my period for 6 months and i went to the doctor and they never prescribed me anything. Im not pregnant because they did tests and all were normal and negative. Im getting really concerned about why i dont get my period. I dont knwo whats wrong with me. I currently play on 2 golf teams,a swim team, and in the spring i play lacrosse. Not to mention i go to the gym once in a while. I recently gained 5 lbs because i was underweight and i hoped to get my period back. It still has not come back and i dont really want to gain weight if it is not going to return my period anyway. I just dont know what to do. I read information about progesterone or other things like that but i just want to do the right thing. what do you think?
