Hi Kimberly,

Check the library or bookstore for books for your daughter. There are several out there, but you need to look through them to make sure they are okay for your daughter. I saw one with a friend of mine when looking at books for her daughter that made us blush!

Also, talk with your Daughter's Pediatrician. S/he may know of books right off the top of their head on this topic.

She shouldn't need a GYN until she is 18 or sexually active, whichever occurs first, OR if she is having problems that require the expertise of a GYN. I started seeing one when I was 15 due to very irregular and painful periods.

Best of luck to both of you! Robin
