For the past year or so I have had bleeding w bms off and on. I have had a fissure one of the times I went to my dr. I have had bouts of constipation/diahhrea in the past. I have been taking Metamucil to keep regular. My bms have always been painful bc of the endo, but they are getting more painful, and now it feels as if I'm being "ripped" inside. The blood varies from bright red to pink, from a lot to just a spot and sometimes is on the stool itself. Is this probably another fissure, or could it be something more serious? I know that you will probably tell me to seek care of my physician because it is blood, but I'm kinda in between drs right now and wonder if this is something that I should go to the er for, or if it can wait until next month? Also, are some people just prone to have bleeding w bm's because I have also had a colonoscopy for this and nothing was found except for some inflammation of no known cause. Thank you for your time.
